It’s official, I’m obsessed with my air fryer. It is SO versatile and the best way to cook food in the summertime without heating up your entire oven. Every single thing I’ve made in it has come out perfectly. It reminds me of growing up and playing with my easy bake oven! This has come super handy especially in the summer when it’s hot in Texas and I don’t want to heat up my entire oven for dinner. I love this one as it’s super user friendly and clean up is a cinch! I don’t eat red meat as it doesn’t get along well with my gut so I tend to stick to ground turkey when I make burgers. I decided to be wild and try ground chicken. I was afraid it was going to be dry but it was a perfect FODMAP safe burger that even my non FODMAP family LOVED! The magic of the air fryer really did cook the burger perfectly and locked in the moisture and flavor. Sometimes I am even pleasantly surprised by how good something turns out. My gluten loving Dad even ate it with a Udi’s bun. I didn’t think I’d see it. Also, I topped the burger with my super easy coleslaw recipe and it added a whole other dimension of texture and flavor!
