As you can tell from my previous posts, I love all things sweet and these brownies are no exception! The richness of the brownies is so satisfying and easy to make. Plus there are only a handful of ingredients and one bowl to use which means less cleanup. These would go perfectly with ice cream as they are not too sweet but have the perfect balance of chocolate. I promise these will be high up on your FODMAP diet desserts recipe list!
Side note: The secret to these brownies are high-quality seed or nut butter and my hands down favorite are this one by 88 acres. I highly recommend the seed butter and the chocolate and sea salt granola bars.
I think its a requirement when you attend our family dinners to serve some sort of chocolate dessert. My Dad will snub his nose at you if you walk in with a vanilla something. 😛 Hey, at least I warned you right?!
You know those people who say they don’t like chocolate? I just don’t get them, how can you not like chocolate?! Especially with all the health benefits of eating dark chocolate, you can actually feel like you’re doing something good for your body! Win, win!
According to Cooking Detective, dark chocolate is one of the highest scoring super foods in antioxidants which is major for the body!
Below are just a few more amazing health benefits of eating dark chocolate:
High in fiber
Stimulant and gives a little bit of energy
A fat that is consumed by the body and not stored for later use
