Classic Turkey Burgers

classic turkey burger

Who doesn’t want a big juicy burger and a side of fries every once in a while!? My hand is definitely up in the air especially when it comes to delicious FODMAP foods!  The hard part about ordering a burger out is most have hidden FODMAP triggers like bread crumbs, garlic, and onion already mixed into the patty.  This homemade version satisfies my burger cravings but without the consequences of feeling sick afterward.

This classic turkey burger recipe uses simple and clean ingredients with the flavor really popping through the burger. I promise you’ll feel satisfied without feeling sick afterward!

What is your favorite burger combination?  I like to keep mine pretty traditional: lettuce, tomato, mustard and a Fodmap safe portion of avocado (1/4 cup-1/2 cup depending on your sensitivity).
