In the summer all I want is something cold and refreshing on a hot day which is what inspired this  Recipe.  I love all the summer time fruits like berries, cantaloupe and honeydew and always try to buy in bulk when on sale.  There is nothing better than having summer berries frozen in the freezer for those fall and winter months!  What makes it even better is that these summer time fruits are also FODMAP safe!  Win, win!  Please note this recipe is more of a granita than sorbet as it’s more flakier than a traditional sorbet.  What’s your favorite summer time Fodmap dessert recipes?!

Honeydew Granita

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Honeydew, chunks
  • 1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 Lemon, juiced

Instructions

1

1. Blend all of the ingredients until combined.

2. Follow instructions of ice cream maker.

3. Freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
